UKS2 Teaching Assistant for 32.5 hours per week

We have a vacancy for an UKS2 Teaching Assistant (Year 5 and 6) for 32.5 hours per week, term time only.

Salary Range - 32.5 hours £13164 - £13695 dependant on qualifications and experience. 

Current or previous TA experience in KS2 would be preferable

School Secretary for 32.5 hours per week

We have a vacancy for a School Secretary to provide routine general clerical and administrative support to the school.

FTE Salary Grade D (£19650 - £21269) Pro Rata - Actual salary £14498 - £15693 32.5 hours per week, term time only - 8.30am – 3.30pm Monday – Friday

Start Date – Monday 5th September 2022

We are looking for candidates who are committed to achieving high standards and enjoy being part of the hard working office team helping staff to deliver the best possible quality of education to all our children.

Are you

  • Enthusiastic and highly motivated?
  • Suitably qualified/experienced in working within a school office?
  • A competent user of school based systems (SIMS and FMS)?
  • Flexible, adaptable and keen to make a difference

The role will involve

  • Admin duties, ICT work, photocopying, managing phone and email communication with parents, professionals and staff
  • First aid duties when required
  • Maintain pupil information on SIMS
  • Preparation and publication of paperwork relating to whole school events
  • Assist with the maintenance and development of the school’s website
  • Provide a positive first point of contact for parents and visitors
  • Work with the school's online payment system
  • Manage the bookings for breakfast and after school club
  • Work with the Headteacher to co-ordinate nursery admissions
